1. Our Commitment
FuelIQ Technologies Ltd. is committed to responsible data stewardship. We collect, process, and store fleet telemetry data solely to deliver our AI-powered fuel monitoring services. Our governance framework ensures data integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance across all operating markets.

3. Data Processing Locations
All telemetry data is processed in Azure West Africa (Lagos) and EU West (Amsterdam) regions. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Data in transit is protected via TLS 1.3. Backup data is replicated to Azure South Africa North (Johannesburg) for disaster recovery.
4. AI Model Data Usage
FuelIQ uses fleet telemetry data to train and improve machine learning models for volumetric forecasting, slosh filtering, and anomaly detection. All training data is anonymized — vehicle identifiers are stripped before model training. Customers may opt out of model training by contacting data@fueliq.tech.
5. Third-Party Data Sharing
FuelIQ shares data with third parties only under the following circumstances:
- Cloud providers (Azure, AWS) for infrastructure operations under signed Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
- Law enforcement upon receipt of valid legal process (court orders, subpoenas).
- Insurance partners when fleet operators explicitly authorize verification.
- Regulatory bodies as required by local law in operating markets.
6. Data Subject Rights
Under applicable data protection laws (including Nigeria's NDPR, EU GDPR, and equivalent regulations in our launch markets), data subjects have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port their personal data. Requests should be directed to dpo@fueliq.tech and will be processed within 30 days.
7. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach, FuelIQ will notify affected customers and relevant supervisory authorities within 72 hours of discovery, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
